Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026 (placeholder version ahead of go-live)
This privacy policy explains what data this website processes and for what purpose. It is a placeholder version ahead of the public go-live and will be updated with the final operator details before launch.
1. Data Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Solfasta — operator details (name, address, contact) will follow before go-live. This placeholder version does not invent a company name, address, or contact details.
2. Hosting and Server Log Files
The intended hosting target is a web hosting package with netcup GmbH (Karlsruhe, Germany); the actual go-live has not happened yet. When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical access data (e.g. IP address, date/time, page requested) in server log files, based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, stable operation).
3. Beta Waitlist (Email Signup)
You can join the beta waitlist using the form on this page. The purpose of processing is solely to notify you when the beta launches. The legal basis is your consent via the checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
After submitting, you'll receive a confirmation email with a confirmation link; your signup only becomes active once confirmed. If you don't confirm within 48 hours, the unconfirmed entry is automatically deleted.
Your email address is stored in a database at our hosting provider netcup GmbH (Karlsruhe, Germany — processing exclusively within the EU) until you withdraw your consent.
4. Your Rights
Once personal data is processed, you are entitled in particular to the following rights:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent with future effect (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
5. Right of Withdrawal
You can withdraw your consent to the beta waitlist at any time with future effect. Every confirmation email includes a one-click deletion link that immediately and completely removes your entry from the database. For questions, you can also reach us by email at [email protected].
6. Right to Complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the authority responsible for your place of residence or for our registered office.
